Maxillofacial Solutions

Our team works closely with expert biomedical engineers to deliver solutions tailored to the specific needs of healthcare professionals. We focus on providing personalised, patient-specific approaches that address the full spectrum of cranio-maxillofacial care—ensuring precision, adaptability, and better outcomes in an ever-evolving medical landscape.

Subperiosteal Implants

Subperiosteal implants are fully adapted to the basal bone in cases of severe jaw atrophy where the patient is not a candidate for standard endosteal implants.

They are tailored to each patient's bone structure, anchored in areas of the best bone quality, and passively connecting a fixed dental restoration to the implant structure.

Orthognathic Surgery

In orthognathic surgeries, surgical movements are studied to predict the changes that soft tissues will undergo.

By preparing a virtual osteotomy study, we determine the exact direction of the cut, creating surgical guides and fixation plates for the procedure.

Reconstructive Surgery

The 3D virtual visualisation of the affected area allows for precise planning and design of the procedure. This enables the addition of cutting guides and fixation plates for the intervention.

Reconstructive surgery may involve dental implants, depending on the case, followed by the design of the dental prosthesis.

TMJ Surgery

In TMJ surgery, prostheses must fit perfectly and accurately.

TMJ reconstructions need to be precise down to the millimetre; that’s why the impression of the splint and its preliminary testing on the study model are crucial to the functional success of the procedure.

Orbital Surgery

We design an implant that perfectly adapts to the topographic features of the human orbit in any situation.

This process enables the precise reconstruction of defects, even in the case of significant bilateral fractures.

PEEK Volumes

We carry out virtual planning to design PEEK implants to provide volume, always considering the anatomy and facial characteristics of the patient to achieve a natural and realistic result.

Panfacial Fractures

In panfacial fractures, surgeries are highly complex due to the delicate nature of the reconstruction process.

One of the advantages of virtual planning is the ability to study the movements of the bone structures in these fractures.

Cranioplasty

Virtual visualisation of soft and hard tissue deformities enables greater predictability throughout the procedure.

Surgeons can rely on surgical guides and anatomical models to streamline the surgery.

Temporal Surgery

The personalised prosthesis for the temporal muscle is designed in close collaboration with our biomedical engineering team, with the option of manufacturing in PEEK or titanium to suit the specific needs of each case.

Moreover, this type of solution perfectly adapts to the patient’s anatomy and final aesthetics.
